Youth Referee 4 Rewards - Training Thursday 3/14

Hi Soccer Families,

This message is for families with kids 12 years or older interested in becoming part of our referee program for spring 5-A-Side Soccer. It's a great program, where they referee in exchange for gift cards. We train them, we mentor them, and they run the show. It's great fun!

Referee Training:
Thursday, March 14th @ Ojai Recreation Department (inside)
6:00-8:00 PM
Eligibility: 12 years or older
We will serve pizza for dinner

Youth Referees 4 Rewards Program
Referee 4 Rewards is an incredible youth referee program we offer in the spring. During 5-A-Side most of our games are officiated by youth referees. Tomorrow, we will hold a two hour training session for all youths interested in participating. For the remainder of the season, our youth referees will be mentored on a weekly basis as they learn how to referee and officiate our games. As a reward for their participation, they will earn points towards gift cards that are awarded at the end of the season. Through this program, kids become leaders, they will learn the laws of the game, and they will have a great opportunity to be part of our community.
